Tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane acetate can be used to prepare an electrolyte for lithium batteries. The main raw materials of the electrolyte for lithium batteries are 5-10 parts by weight of dimethyl sulfoxide, 8-12 parts of hydroxyurea, 25-30 parts of cytarabine hydrochloride, polyvinylpyrrolidone 6-8 parts, Potassium bis (trifluoromethylsulfonimide) 2-6 parts, lithium hexafluorophosphate 1-3 parts, 2, 4-dichlorophenylhydrazine Hydrochloride 1-3 parts, trimethylolaminomethane acetate 1-3 parts, (4-amidophenyl) methanesulfonyl fluoride Hydrochloride 1-3 parts, N,N-dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine oxalate 0.5-1.2 parts. In the process of battery charging and discharging, the electrolyte prepared by the present invention inhibits the capacity attenuation of the battery at low temperature, and can reduce the amount of gas generated by the electrolyte at high temperature, and effectively prevent the battery from expanding, improve the high temperature performance of the battery.
